I’ve got a bunch of iPod clones on my outboard from all sorts of different people and I’ve been listening to them individually - completely different to what I would have on them since its such a personal thing. Right now I’m listening to a huge wedge of Mo-town soul, which I just don’t have nor would have picked up.
Interesting. I wonder if your outlook changes if you change the music you listen to?

My focus changes if I listen to well-written music with a specific agenda, but I try to change things up often enough that I don’t end up with ideological blinkers.
