Worldwide productivity should go up: there’s a Wikipedia entry that gives you all the answers so you can stop trying to come up with them yourself.
There are apparently unverified claims, however. So proceed with caution.

Flickr loves me!

I discovered a short time ago that my Flickr account had been quietly upgraded to Pro. Turns out this is because I get my home Internet connection through SBC/AT&T/Yahoo, which also owns Flickr. In a surprising show of thanks, they give broadband customers Pro Flickr accounts for no extra charge.
