When I lived in Scotland I had care packages of Barry’s Gold Blend sent over to me and other Irish people occasionally shares their stashes when I ran out. When I’m at home in Ireland, it’s usually Barry’s or Lyons but I’m happy enough to drink whatever’s available. When I’m abroad, it must be Barry’s. It’s like all the ads have totally removed my ability to choose for myself. I HAVE to have the tea of Irish ex-pats everywhere. Weird.

My household tea expert has moved onto Lyons Gold Blend Reserve (in pyramid bags). On the odd occasion of me having tea, it doesn’t displease.

Lyon's Gold Blend was the tea of choice in my household for years, but now we've moved over to Barry's. I've drunk a wide variety of teas over the years, and I have to say that the Barry's One-cup is the one I think makes the nicest tea.
