The New Birthday Special?
by uber
Anthony Burgess‘s recipe:
“Hangman’s Blood”, [...] : “Into a pint glass, doubles of the following are poured: gin, whisky, rum, port and brandy. A small bottle of stout is added and the whole topped up with champagne… It tastes very smooth, induces a somewhat metaphysical elation, and rarely leaves a hangover.
So… who’s up first?

Given that it’s bad form to volunteer other, older, people for this kind of malarkey, I’ll give one a go when next I upgrade my decrepitude.
That’s ages away, though, so possibly not much help to your liver-torturing camapaign.
I don’t see why you’d be *required* to wait until a birthday. Any occasion where all the ingredients are available is probably cause enough to give it a go.
I hope it tastes better than it sounds, though…
I can’t see how this could possiblie go wrong.
I’m glad I’ve 10 months of training to build up to this one.
