The story of the Wanderer’s visa interview is worth telling, but is still pending. Suffice it to say that once the appointment with the embassy was made, everything started working very quickly. Now we wait for the work permit.

Only once before have I been in a situation so deeply, comically bad that I laughed. This morning, upon receiving news of the packet of expensive and original documents I’d sent three weeks ago, I had my second moment of laughter in the face of disaster.
