Things like ‘anti-malarials, what do you mean you don’t supply them here’.

I feel pretty chipper right now, having just whacked the corp-provided LAN connection into Toy and gotten ‘100Mbps’ back, on top of an evening of beer and pizza down by the pool, this could be harsher.

I hear this phrase with surprising frequency, leaving me with the conclusion that I have extremely ordinary genes. So many people seem to have a cousin who looks a lot like me that when someone says, “Do I know you?” I assume they too have a forgotten cousin with long hair, big eyes, and glasses. [...]

Here’s a quick list of the things I did, places I went, things to recommend and so on that I wrote for a friend who’s going there and I thought - gee, people might find this useful so here:

I will be back in Dublin, last time before departure, there will be drinks.
I will definitely be at The Dead Flags Single Launch in the day time - and my major head-ache now is whether or not to take up an invitation to The Tassel Club (perhaps NSFW?) that evening… it looks like great fun… [...]
